I'd go with b18 too but I'm a doing what I said I wouldn't do and thats building a consistant b16 turbo... I have the b16 in but now I need to get the turbo in... hopfully soon I'll let you know how it goes
but like I said go b18
tune the **** out of it

So much misinformation here.
It's not the amount of boost, it's the tuning. Tune conservatively and be safe, or make more power and run it dangerously. Your choice. A B16A will take boost just as well as a B18.
My brother's stock engine B16A turbo (with GSR cams) just busted off an 11.8@118 (ran out of gear) on 11 lbs.

for the price of a b16 swap you could basically do a b18 turbo setup. say its on the cheap side and u pay 2k for the b16 swap, its gonna cost a grand less to get a b18 in most likely. take that saved money and buy a decent manifold and turbo, learn to weld and do all your own ic/exhaust piping. dsm sidemount and bov you could have a nice little setup. chip a p28 and get it tuned with your choice of fuel management. maybe hit 2500 in cost total and smoke b16's all day. or do it this way, buy a b18 and build it for the price of a b16.
