Default All motor LSVTEC, How do I get more power

Well I just had my LSVTEC dyno tuned. Its putting out just shy of 170 hp to the wheels. I have an AEM Intake, ITR Intake manifold, stock SIR2 TB, RC 310cc Injectors, ITR cams, ITR Pistons, DC header, full Tanabe racing medalion exhaust w/high flow cat, and a Hondata S100 controlling it all. I just bought Skunk2 cam gears and Im looking into getting a type r TB. I want to get somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 Whp, and Im wondering if I need to just ditch the ITR cams and stock valve train and go with skunk2 ti retainers and springs and stage 2 cams or would another method work better. Please advise.

Head work would be a nice addation. Also i dont think there is anything really special about an ITR TB, who not sned your TB and get it re-ground and then match port the IM. I know there is a sponsor that does it for $100 and has a ton of vouches.

As far as cams go do a lot of reasearch on this. I know i have seen guys use 1 ITR and and 1 CTR cam or 1 GSR cam. I cant remember the combo.

I think it's CTR intake and ITR exahust cams...if you want more power out of your engine, port match, p&p and then get bigger cams and do more tuning. the valvetrain would def help and ditching the ITR cams (sell them to me if they're low mileage ) and get the S2S1's for the low end torque...which happen to be my NEXT choice. Good luck....

why not soem crower cams? alot of there cams have a more aggressive grind than any ctr or itr cam. plus they sell complete head packages. cams, springs, retainers, keepers..etc. and they are knida in the affordable range. just sell the ITR cams to mmake up for some of the $

I have nothing against crower, just have personal experience with the S2S1's which are quite torquey. I think you misunderstood what I said. In fact, Crower makes a NASTY ITR+ cam that I'm interested in...but if he hit me with a price on those ITR's of his, I prolly wouldn't refuse.

As far as the head packages, look around for BC head packages as well as Rocket Motorsports head packages as well...and remember, it's getting into the holidays, save your change for a minute and just WAIT FOR THE HOLIDAY DEALS...they are coming, I assure you .

good luck

Chris
