Would be the first Thing I would check. Sometimes there a bitch getting them all the way in. They may seem like there in but they got just a little more to go.

when you put the axles in.. slide it into the tranny get the hub put the axle in the hub put the axle nut on tighten it down with an impact... get the hub and slam it into the tranny.. dont use a hammer..
it happened to me when i replaced my stock with a stage 2.. got it done put the axles in got down the street to test it make shure everythings okay.. get ready to pull out into the intersection and the car stops right in the middle and just revs in 1st gear.. so i pushed it ( i thought the damn clutch blew up ) jacked it up on the side of the road saw the axle out.. took off the lca bolt and slammed it in..

why not learn how to work on your own car.. you take more pride in it when its done than have someone do it.. also a lot less downtime

Being too worried about theft to have your car worked on by someone else is a pretty shitty reason to do the work yourself. You should want to do the work by yourself so you become self sufficient, save money, and know what you are driving! Your car could stolen at your own house so does that mean take it to a shop?
just re-check your steps, and make sure everything is plugged up enough... worst case scenario, you rip it all apart and make sure it is back together correctly! I guaruntee the next clutch you do you will remember whatever you forgot! Keep on wrenchin!
