i would say, it all depends on how well u tuned the car and how you take care of the car...obviously, if the car is not running to its full potential then it can cause detonation which can lead to failure of the motor...in my opinion, they are just as good or probably way better than oem because a lot of times, whoever makes the one for turbo are pretty much the same maker for NA except they are for NA...If the Turbo pistons can take the heat and capable of pushing 500whp then i guess NA can be just as reliable or better...hope this helps u somehow

Serious all motor pistons are I would say much less reliable than your typical OEM piston. One they always strive for the lightest weight which ussually means really short skirts which makes it less stable in the bore at high rpms.

It is all relative. Do you want max performance or just a nice solid 11.5 compression JE slug or something similar.

The type s and Mahles are your only options without sleeving you H engine.Do the type s and mill the head.

so how much compression diffrence there would be with type S and some high compression pistons. as in is it even worth to get aftermarkets if they only add 5hp more then type S's
