94 del sol, clunking problem! driving me NUTS
whenever i rev from 1st or 2nd gear and somtimes when i come to a full stop, i would hear a clunking sound from the rear. is it the exhaust, wheel bearings, suspensions or WHAT. anyone have this problem before or have an idea or what it is?

rear shock(s) is/are blown probably... i'm slammed on stock w/ h&r race springs. the moment i put them on, my shocks went and i got that sound. they were already bad to begin with. i get that noise on both sides.
for anyone having the same problem, it could be ur lugnuts. a lugnut may not be completely centered when tightened so when u accelerate or brake it causes the wheel to slip and clunk. PEACE

Seems like you would have to have more than one lugnut loose though. The other 3 would pull the wheel where it needs to be and then the other one would just be loose. Shouldn't be that hard to get lugnuts on there right anyway. They either thread smoothly or they don't.
Either way, check for shocks and see what kind of condition they're in. See if you can see any fluid leaking from them anywhere. Make sure everything is tightened up back there. If you have a custom exhaust, you might also check for clearance issues with that.
