Default boosted integra weird overheating

hi i have been having this problem for a while now and i still havent figure out what is causing it. my car is driving hot on the freeway. but on the street it seems fine. the temp will start to rise only when on going above 70. it goes to about 3/4 of the way. but when i press the botton to close to moon roof, the temp will rise quickly and when i let go, it will go back to a little above half. i change my head gasket, thermostat, radiator and fans. im running the pwr half size radiator. should i go with the full size? please help.....

Your temp changes when you push the sunroof button? Sounds more like a bad wire or ground. Have you checked the temp with something else? Are you sure its running hot? Try the coolant sensor. Did you recently change to the small one? If so swich back

I got the same problem, overheats on the highway, but then I put the heater on the temps drop immediately. I'm thinking the fans are wired wrong, but then again I'm not sure.

The fans should be pulling air away from the radiator. The fan switches on when the motor reaches a certain temperature.

wow....

When you turn the heat on the temp drops...

There is something called a heater core. Its much like a radiator. The coolant runs through the heater core only when you turn the heat on. A fan blows on the heater core this air then blows out the vents in your car... thats how you get heat. The heater core acts just like a radiator, this being the reason the engine temp may drop.

i had a boosted teg with half radiator and slim fan, the whole time my car was overheating was due to the slim fan, even tho it was new and installed correctly, it sucked, so i put a stock one on and never had problems
