Default JDM B16 and USDM B16....same or different?

EDIT: Yes I already searched but could not find any definite answers!

Hey guys, well specifically i'm wondering about the timing belt, tensioner, water pump, oil pump and any other parts I should replace before I put my motor in.

I know for a fact that the exhaust manifold gasket is not the same because I bought one from Autozone for a 2000 Civic Si and it did not fit at all so I had to use a Jdm LS gasket that a buddy had.

Any and all help appreciated, Thanx!!!

i believe the timing belt, tensioner, water pump, oil pump and most other parts are the same.

the throttle body gasket is not the same however, from experience. bought one for 99-00 Si and it wasn't right and I had to custom make my own gasket.

Some of the parts are not like the 2000 Si. A closer match depending on year would be a DelSol VTEC. I have a 95 JDM B16A and I have used pars from the 95 DelSol VTEC with no issues.

the jdm B16A is the same as the B16A3(del sol DOHC VTEC). well, as far as replacement parts go. the water pump, timing belt, and oil pump are identical. there is a difference with the B16A2 (99-00 civic si) i believe it has an extra 2 teeth on the belt.

So when I buy parts I should say I have a Vtec del sol?

i usually mention 95 del sol DOHC VTEC. i believe the delsol also came with a SOHC VTEC, like found on the civic ex.(not sure though, correct me if i'm wrong)
so be careful w/what you mention. you know how these parts guys are, they'll sell you the wrong part but swear up and down its the right one!
