Tell your bro to write you a check to get your amp fixed...

Start by kicking your bro in the ***.
The only light that should be on is the power light, the thermal light comes on if the amp shuts down because the amp is too hot, the low impedance light comes on if the load connected to the amps speaker outputs is lower then rated, [and the amp shuts off] If the low impedance light is on then there is a low ipedance load wired to the amp, or there is a problem with the amp, RE: kick your bro in the ***.
Go here http://mobile.jlaudio.com/prod...d=253 and download the owners manual to make sure everything is wired right and all the buttons and ***** are in the right place and the amp is set up properly, there are some tutorials there also. 94

I like that.

Check everything on the amp (do what fcm said), and then if your bro fried your amp, kick him in the *** again, and then have him write you the check.
