piston ring ?
take the rings off the pistons, put them back in the cylinder, turn the piston upside down to push the ring down a lil to make sure it is in there perfectly paralelle with the block deck, than use a feeler guage to check the end gaps of the rings... ur gona have to find out what the end gap is suppose to be cuz i dunno. of corse u will have to take the bottom end apart but its better to do it now than later... good luck. :
p.s.
replace the bearings while ur at it.

I have some b16 piston with 3,000 miles on the rings i think im gonna slap those in and get new bearings. I shouldn't have any problems since the rings are already kinda used right??
This is my friends car that im selling the parts too, and im doing all the work.
