I have Aebs. I put it on as my last engine mod and didnt feel ****. I think i got like 1 horsepower. I just did it for cams later. Either is fine...not a huge deal, no big gains. but a waste if you dont plan on doing more to the motor later.

just my opinion

I seem to remember seeing somewhere that the AEBS manifold made more power than a stock ITR manifold. The Skunk2 is very similar to the ITR manifold so I can imagine that it's similar in performance as well. Based on price alone I'd go for the AEBS.

I'd get the AEBS, and if you have time port it out a little. A little porting never hurt anyone (just don't polish it).

I use one on my car and was happy with the entire unit.

You'll lose power depending on your car's setup. What you want to do is create a constant flow of air flowing in and exiting just as fast for maximum gains. It sorta creates a vaccum.

To answer your ? Go AEBS

Throttle bodies are known for their uselessness in the hp department.

The reasonm for asking is there is a S2 floating around my area for the same price as a AEBS.

S2 you are paying more for the name. Go AEBS.

Does anyone know if the aebs is carb legal or able to smog in california? If not, I think thats why people spend more on the s2, for the carb sticker.
