Default Wierd Noise at higher rpm's? Searched

ok so in my 1993 civic ex coupe i have a rattling / crunching noise coming from my dash or behind my dash in the far left. i only hear it when i get the rpm's going over about 3000 it sounds like its coming from the general direction of where the fuel pump is "judging by where the sound of that comes from"

anybody know what i am hearing or whats wrong, should i try and explain this more.

that could help.

to be completely honest the problem was never fixed on my buddy's car. But just based on the type of work that was done on his car (new block, but same turbo & tranny) it's probably the tranny, and he has yet to get another one. I mean, it could have also been the axels, but if you think about it if it were the axels wouldn't the rumble/grind be through out any RPM?

Sorry if i didn't complete answer your question. I am (or my buddy, since im suppose to be helping him) are in the same boat.

try changing the MTF, and lemmie know how it goes.
