Thats great I wasa thinking about either an h22 swap or a k20 swap into a del sol and was thinking about the weight and understeer of the h22. Thanks alot, that may swayed my to the k swap.

Wow totally off. It is only lighter by like 3lbs. Not that much of a weight saver.

who cares about weight...its about power/weight ratio....

if it makes more power, while weighing the same, then who cares. its not like 40lbs is THAT big of a deal in a FWD street driven civic

I wanna see a K series in a DC2. I've been dieing to see some good pics for a while. I just pulled the TB on the RSX and with the motor being in the opposite way than my dc2 it seems like everything was crammed in tighter in the RSX.

anyone have pics?

EG bay

There's LOTS of room to work with in the bay. You know how you can have alot of room wiht a B/D in the bay up front? Especially with no AC..well you have that room in the rear towards the firewall. Right where it's more useful.

I agree with your weight to power thoery but with the car weighing so much I'm trying to save weight if possible. The power of the two are same so the fact the K is lighter i think I'll want to go with that. IMO, tho I was talking to a friend of mine and he believes that B18c would better, regardless of prices, I think the K would be better in the end, altho I trust is opinion b/c he worked for a honda dealership for 15 years and now co owns ance shop, so what are some of your opinions?

Oh if anyone in the NE PA, near Allentown and Bethlehem area are interested here's their site, http://www.absolutePROformance.com

Your friend reads too much Import tuner and Super Street.

K>ALL honda engines IMO.

No other engine comes close to power production and tunability. Damn thing can make up to 20 hp if the header is designed right....what other 4 cyl Honda engine makes 20 hp from a header?

there are a lot of good reasons to pick the K over the H, but that is not one of them.
