putting turbo on d16 I HAVE SEARCHED have some questions help please!!
I'm putting a turbo kit that comes with a boost dependent FMU fuel regulator.(i'm switching to crome or hondatas s300 soon)Me and my friend can most likely get most the parts on the car (i.e intercooler, intercooler pipe to TB and Intercooler pipe to turbo, fuel pump, intake setup, map sensor bypass valves, oil line with fittings, oil return assembly, all hardware and fittings, hoses clamps and gaskets) I just want to know what we need to do with the FMU so i don't blow my **** up.
vaccum line in the top. From the fuel press. regulator goes to the nipple close to the edge, and the one in the center goes to the fuel return hard line! take it easy w/ the fmu unless you have deep pockets!
No my pockets arent deep i actually had to give some herb away to get this kit as well as cash...anyways, I guess what i'm asking is what I need to set the fuel pressure at after i put the kit on, And i beleive it should be the stock pressure with the stock injectors, correct me if i'm wrong. (and my buddy said something about having to tap the oil pan for a feed or return for the oil lines) If this confuses anyone please don't yell at me and tell me i'm not making sense, that's what he told me. As for boost I am only planing on running 7 psi until i can build my motor and get a better ecu like hondatas s300 along with pistons and most likely a block guard,(if you know anywhere that makes a good head gasket for my motor when it's turbo please let me know) I drive it daily and treat my car nice and it runs fine 130,000 miles...SO don't make assumptions that i'm gonna run my motor into the ground, no I want the satisfaction of having some power in my civic and i enjoy the feeling of boost. If i blow the motor i will replace it so dont post about me not putting this turbo on my 130K mile D16 because i will just get the new motor (cheap as hell) ANyways thanks guys for reading my postings

Wow...
Wow...
only stock injs. until i can afford like 310 or something higher than stock at least, but i still need to know the stock fuel pressure for d16z6 for when i install the turbo kits pressure regulator and FMU, for the short time the FMU will be on as i am switching to hondata or crome. and also IF and WHERE i need to tap into anything to attach oil return assembly or oil feed line...don't hate me cause i'm new.
