Idle issuse - stumble at idle - help
Setup:
Fully built B18C1
81.5mm Wisceo pistons
Eagle rods
BC3+'s Cams
Omni valve train
Stock valves
Skunk 2 intake manifold
Vibrant J-spec header
3" high flow cat
2 1/2" cat back
s200 - tunned
I have roughly 15000 kms on the setup at the moment. I'm having a slight stumble at idle. The idle stays constant but my motor shakes sometimes(stock engine mounts). Sometimes it sounds like it missing at idle, but when I remove each plug wire, the motor bogs out more... any ideas?

compression number are all good. I changed swapped in another IACV, another coil, and changed plugs. Same ****. My dizzy cap looks good and the wires are pretty new(oem). Only thing I can think of at his point is my injectors. Would that make sense? HELP!
Had a similar issue. Car runs fine driving and in vtec, but at idle it seems like it missing oh so slightly from time to time.
It may be spark related. I tried changing the external coil, cap, rotor, plugs on at a time to see what the problem was. At the end it was one of the plugs.
Very odd, but it happens. Could have been some kind of defect on one of the plugs. It was even a NGK iridium plug.
Hope it helps

I changed my plugs. This started with my older plugs(ngk platiums), so I decided to swap them out. I'm currently running the Irridium plugs however the problem persists.

bump for info! My car does the same thing but it also runs really rich. I have turned the fuel pressure down and it still runs very rich. I also changed all my ignition components. I am leaning towards injectors too.

checked a/f reading @ idle. it settles at 14.7. I'm going to pull the injectors within a week or so and get them cleaned. I will keep everyone posted.
