redline is supposed to be good stuff....

I use Mobile 1 synthetic gear oil in my b18c tranny.

 

I've also heard that Redline is pretty good.

 

I trust Honda also, if all other brand is better, why doesn't Honda use it? Well, cost may be a factor but I just Honda is within specs for their oil.

 

stick with the OEM stuff. honda MTF. unless you're really street aggressive

there are no other options as far as I'm concerned.

 

Do not use red line! It needs to have friction additives added. The best stuff is called Swepco. Scott from Collective can get it for you. The ATF works great in the Honda trannys. The Swepco oil is far superior too.

Don't knock it till you try it.
Swepco has actually made all the "race" cars perform better.

 

Stick with the Honda MTL unless you like replacing synchros and gears in your tranny.
