Default CTR vs. Endyn Pistons...

I understand that CTR pistons yield 12.3:1 compression, and one can also get Endyn Rollerwaves with 12.3:1 compression. I was curious as to which ones actual were better quality. Also, what is the price for both of these? For a Toda C setup which would be better?

running a gsr head then yeah they yield that CR ,unless that you milled the head or thing head gasket . on a R would be with CTR 12.1 .
if your thinking of running big cams , i would prefer JE(im not a big fan of the endyn pistons)JE pistons have a nice deep valve pockets ,especially for high lift cams ..

Well the JE vs Endyn thing is personal preference, but ANY forged piston will be better than any cast stock pistons.

Anybody feel that Honda OEM rings are the best out there and seal the best?

I was having a chat with a friend of mine about this.

Cast piston can use OEM rings (duh) good for longevity and sealing.....
weak and brittle however....

Forged piston strong and can take abuse but rings won't seal as well as OEM?

Just something I've been wondering about....

...though I'd never say this but please do a search... and a broad one, not just the Type R board... Myself and others have beat this to death... my last post on the subject kinda stopped the thread it seems...

Thanx Spoon1 for actually answering what the question asks. The main point of this question is to compare CTR and Endyn pistons in the way of quality.. Ah well, maybe I'll just get Toda...
