Default would my secondary butterfly open if i am running a p28 on h22a

would my secondary butterfly open if i am running a p28 on h22a? how can i tell if my butterfly open or not? would i have to remove it to run a better time on the p28?

theres a way to make a p28 run the IABs but you need to solder a couple things. i just did it on mines.

If you chip with a P13 bin doesnt it open them for you?

even if you do the p28 wont open the IABs

would there be a significant in power loss if the iabs dosent open? the vtec would hit harder with the iabs open right?

IABs unplugged you'll have the same power up top, with them functioning you'll have up to 7 more hp under 5500. But who is at ful htrottle under 5500 RPM and wants more power, i'd always be in first at that point, and worried more about traction.

unless you raced autocross, then it'd be a big deal. do the PGMFI.org thing, or get a GSR P72

you could get an rpm activated switch to control them with a p28, or chip a p72.

I just removed mine alltogether. Wasnt worth the hassle of trying to get them to work properly.
