i'm confused. are u asking a question or stating that it rocks? are u asking if it will let u select a different boost per gear? who makes it? link? how much did it cost?

here is a link http://www.ams1000.com/home/co...3.255
they go for about$800. i'm just set-up one for my car. they are sponcering me. but i have to make my own switch for each gear. i designed a cirucit for it. going to the dyno for more testing. i was just woundering if any one else has tryed. it is a air managment system very high tech. check out the link. this should let me run 800whp in the street and controll it + awsome times will come from this at the track. this is the ticket for all of us to running low 9 high 8 pass in the sfwd turbo 4 class. will keep updating.

wow 800 i'll stick with my innovative msbc-1 or get the turbosmart ebc. it seems the only thing that sets it apart from those i've mentioned is the fact that it can datalog boost pressure and has a nice fancy graph. buuuuuuutttt since every ems that the t4 guys run has datalogging it's kinda pointless. still a nice piece though

i'v tryed the turbosmart unit. and it will not work for low low boost and high. the other unit is nice. but i like the data log and switch gps mode+ time mode. it is the next step above innovative msbc-1.

800horses on the street is just plain unreasonable. Why even try it? you will be a safety hazard for every car next to you when you floor it.

As far as this boost controller goes, why not just run a cheaper 4 stage turbo XS and let your ECU control it?

mainly building for sfwd class and turbo4 class events. in the midwest looking to break records here. no way would i run that much boost or hp on the street just have to turn down boost. but i can ramp boost level so i can get trackion on the street. i here there is a 9.2 sec car in cal that has this set-up on it on the streets. well going to the dyno see you later. for now low hp because my ring gear are stock.

I'll put that ams-1000 against our TBC-1 anyday. I'm sure it works but
I've still never seen anything work like the TBC-1. Black and White for $800.00
Does it data log, turbo timer, valet mode, digital/analog display, .1psi accuracy?
I'm just wondering.... and have you used the boost over gear? How does it determine gear? Is it RPM/Vehicle Speed or what? Looks like a racecar piece doesn't look user friendly is it?

haha id like to see this one done
ive seen the innovative used but neither of the aforementioned ones
so it would be informative
and seriously why even ramp that kind of hp on the street, get to those speeds it can generate and if ur cars not ready for it, much less you, you might really do some damage.
anyways id like to see a high end boost controller shoot out

wel, just dyno and got 635whp on 26" sticky. not street tires like others. also rado i have not seen your controller, but will check it out. i use micro switches by shifer for gear selc. i can use time mode in 6 stages of boost level. and is digital. easy to use. push button on face of unit to sel info also have lcd screen.i monitors boost level at wastegate and a seperate one at manifold. it is accurate to 1/10 sec.that is fast to change the boost level. has scramble boost and decese boost level(i use buttons on my steering wheel for that.). it data log with graphs ver time/boost level.has a launch boost level and with 2 step it controlles it was at 15 psi of boost and lower down 2 5psi of boost with controller, that is a must on big hp. antways that al for now on the boost controller. also the display is graph controlled very user freandly. will put updates anter the event. i car is setup for the hp, just that to tune it all. so well will see at great lakes dragway on oct 16 sunday, at importwars.

i just check out the tbc-1. nice but small screen and i use 2 of the same valve you use and my can controllerl boost 100psi. very simuler units. i just think ams has more options. but will work the same. here is a link of info on it. also the price tag on thetbc-1 is $1000 + on nopi. and ams is $850. you do the math.
