Default oil pan problem

man i just changed my oil like usualy, but i never changed the washer b4. well now i got a small leak, well its big to me cuz in a few hours all oil was gone. i have narrowed it down to where the bolt is...i went to discount auto and got a bolt washer replacement but same thing. do u think if i go get a honda part it will make a difference? or could it be somethin else..there are no cracks in the pan and i had no leaks b4 this change...

uh, yeah, that's a BIG leak. where is it leaking from? having a used washer on there will not cause all the oil to drain out.

Take a look a the drain bolt, are all the threads okay? What about the threads in the oil pan?

See if a new drain plug bolt will stop the leak, it may have better threads on the new bolt.

Generally a drain plug washer will not cause ALL of the oil to leak out, and certainly not in a short amount of time. I suspect that like tech8 said, the oil pan may be stripped out, preventing you from tightening the plug enough to get the washer to seal.

Doubt a washer could do that. But a washer should be used everytime you change the filter

May be a hairline crack where the plug is

most likely the threads on the pan are stripped ,, remove the plug and look at the threads
