Default engine swap

Can a 1995 integra motor fit in to a 1991 integra. Should it link up to the automatic transmittion on the 91. The reason for keeping it auto is because just got it rebuilded.

yes it will fit but you'll have to change some things on the new motor to parts from the old motor. like, your old distributor will have to go on the new engine, for example. other than the sensors, yes, just change over the flexplate and torque converter. i would highly recommend either swapping to 5-speed or selling the car and getting one with a 5-speed. manual transmissions are MUCH faster in cars with small engines (read: most Hondas) and automatic transmissions absorb more torque, causing even lower power output on top of the longer gearing and slower shifting.
