ITR transmission grinds when hot?
my itr trans works flawlessly when the car is first started and cold, after a long drive 2nd gear always grinds pretty badly. whats causing this, and whats the cure?
In addition to your tranny fluid make sure your clutch fluid is clean and bleed. You might not be fulling disengaging the clutch if your fluid is dirty.
If the tranny and clutch fluid do not work then probably your syncros.

You change the tranny fluid/bleed & change clutch fluid and ensure the level is correct.....go out drive the car and if it still grinds....
it's likely the syncros.....
