Rear strut bolt seized
I tried removing my rear struts the other day in order to put my new suspension in and I ran into a little problem. I tried to remove the bolt on the Lower control arm w/ the impact gun(didn't budge) went to the trusty breaker bar and it did just that(snapped the head off the bolt.) I tried for about an hour to hammer the bolt out but no luck. Who ever put the old springs in over tightened them and got them seized into the bushings. Other side is the same way but I gave up before I snapped that one as well. I finally gave up all together because I had to go to work. Will i need to bring it to a shop and have them use a hydraulic press to remove the old bushings or is this something I can do by myself with a C clamp or an alternative option?
The bolt rusted to the suspension bushing pin. This has happened to me a few times on various Hondas. I drilled through the bolt and then pressed in a new suspension bushing. Good Luck
damn..thats worst one i never seen
drill it or cut and get new LCA sets. and did you spray some WD-40 before you get info fight with them?

damn east coast it happens to every dc over there and it happened to mine even though im from california but the previous owner got it from the east and probably got it submerged in water during a flood.
what we're doing. cutting threw the bushing with an air saw and ripping the lca bolt and bushing out and pressing in a new one, luckily i already ordered spare oem bolts and bushings
or if youre replacing your shocks too you can cut through your old one.

This just happened to me exactly. And I'm from the East Coast too!
Anyway so I went to install soem KYB AGX's and Neuspeed Sport springs. Front done no problem but the rears absolutely would not come out. Impact gun, nope. I had to buy new LCA bolts/nuts, trailing arm bolts/nuts, new LCAs altogether from Omnipower (w/ bushings). My friend attends technical school in the area and he had to take it to school to cut the trailing arm & LCA bolts. 6 hours later my car now had new rear Struts/LCAs/Springs/bolts

So if I use the airsaw to cut the old bushings apart and push the bolt/bushing out ill be able to push the new bushings in myself correct w/ a C clamp or something else? Correct?
I feel better that I'm not the only one dealing with this, thanks for the help.

SPC in Red is what i got! they have the holes for the ABS if you have it and they come with a spacer that goes between the LCA and the sway bar bracket to align it straight if you have a Aftermarket sway bar!
