ok so i bought my accord lx like a year ago and i put in 2 1000 wat cerwin vega's and a 800 wat amp. i had them set up with the factory radio and the sound was clean.

So yesterday i took out the factory radio and installed a new cd player. i used a wire harness and i hooked up the antena conector. those where the only 2 connections that i saw.

All of the speakers sound fine except that my amp power light dosnt come on i checked the fuses but that wasnt the problem and i checked all wiring and everything was fine. so im here stumped and upset because i have no bass

So wat can Be the Problem!!?

Does the amp work when you play the radio? If so you have the amp turn on lead wired to the HUs power ant. control output wire, change it to the other blue wire, [blue/white].
If that is not the problem, [no sub even when playing radio] use a pc. of scrap wire as a jumper between the amps 12V+ term. and the turn on term., disconnect the turn on lead that is connected to it first, [just in case it is miswired] you don't want to short anything out. If the subs work when you do this, the amp turn on lead is miswired at the HU or the HUs amp control lead has no output. 94

 

thnks fcm turns out the people that had hooked up my woofers didnt have the amp conected 2 the factory radio. my antena didnt go up so i just hooked up 3 wires 2 gether adn the amp and woofers came on and the antena is working also
