Default need advice on Turbo/Swap

Hey guys,

i own a 2004 civic coupe with 40,000km on it. I put on a lotta kms because i have to drive to college.

so the question is... k20a2 swap or a turbo.

I'm sooooo confused and i can't figure out which one to go with...

people are telling me that getting a turbo in the long run is better because you can take it off when you're selling the car...

What do you guys suggest?

thanks in advance.

Definitely a swap... then turn around sell your current engine and built NA..

or if your car's paid off then take that car and money you've saved up for turbo/swap, trade in for that new Si..

the thing is that i have the money to purchase the 2006 si, but i'd rather not. I can't stand the interior and the steering wheel. I don't understand wuts up with that... but thats off topic. I'd drop a k20a2 into my civic than buying the new Si any day.

If you go fi, I would say go with the Jackson race type supercharger. I have been trying to make the same decision. The supercharger would be LOTS easier to remove than the turbo setup. This point only matters if you think you will sell the car in the next few years.

At this point I am thinking swap for a k20a2. Who can resist that high revving fun. I think you could get the engine, ecu and tranny for $3000-3500 and pay someone $800-1000 to finish up the swap. So for perhaps less than $4000 you have the swap and its installed. Then if you wanted more you could add i/h/e/k pro and if you want even more reliable power you could add some mild cams.
