Default My HCP Mount broke... what to do!!??

The background: Hey guys, I've gotta 97 Hatch with h22a1 motor and the HCP 4 piece Motor mount kit. I've had the swap since Feb 2003 and have put a little under 70k miles on it since.

The problem: Well Within the past few days, the car has been sounding a little different like it has an exhaust leak and i can feel that the car is vibrating funny. The little things shake when I press the gas like rear mirrors and stuff. A little more than from before.

So for the past few days, I had been looking for exhaust leaks but coudln't really find anything that would cause what i'm experiencing.

The Discovery: So i was just looking around the motor and found that the driver side motor mount is broken. Not the bushing part that bolts onto the car... but the metal part that bolts onto the motor. The metal is broke in half. =

Here are some pictures:

The Question:Can I still roll around like this? Is it safe? How can I get a new one? Is there any kind of warrenty that HCP has? Thanks a lot people... I need to know cuz she's my daily driver! thanks!

Erm, honestly this is all just guessing. But I assume each mount has it's own special purpose in life. I think if it was fine to ride without it, Honda wouldn't have put a mount there. I would get it fixed as soon as possible because I'm sure that now that mount is broke it's putting a lot more strain on the others and they'll start breaking too...

No offense dude.... but ....errrrrr.... you don't notice that?

If you keep driving like that you'll put some decent sized dents in your hood and could possibly damage your oil pan, master cylinder, and all sensors on the back of your manifold.

HCP will replace it. I have had 3 sets brake on me. Do what I did, get a set of Hasports or Azracemachines and never look back. Good luck

I thought I was the only one. I had an Auto to manual mount break on me recently. I bought a hasport mount to replace it.

Just send them a pic of the broken mount, their mounts are the only ones that look dookie like that. They should know their own product.

jsut tell them you need to warranty the mount just like it was any other warranty. Be polite, and dont be mad or have an attitude, after all they dont like being ont eh receiving end of a bitchy customer.

yeah, i talked to them and was polite and sent them an email. Mann... but they want the receipt from the retailer that i bought it from and to send them the mount. I don't have the receipt... and will have to be w/out a car for a while. boo

Can anyone help with this? hehe.... ummm... is there a way that i can buy AND utilize JUST the Hasport H22 driverside mount? or would it not be compatable with the other mounts? Like... would it be able to line up correctly? Where could I buy just the Hasport H22 driver side mount? thanks!
