Iam wondering which engine will win a ls or a sohc vtec

 

an engine won't win a race. it needs to be in a car and stuff. i'm not a big stickler for forum rules like some of these cry babys, but i think theres a rule specifically saying you can't post "who will win" threads. anyway, all things being equal, an ls powered car will be faster due to torque, but i think they have about the same hp, for the b18a anyway
