Autometer Tach Install on a 90 RS

Ok...so i bought a 5" tach w/ shift light because i found one for really cheap from a friend. My question is this. How does this all hook up? No one around here seems to know.

start looking for your tach wire. from there wire up your ground, ign, lighting, etc...

You can tap the tach signal from the back of the gauge cluster off of the stock wire.

anyone know what color the wire is coming off the dizzy for the tach signal?

blue. i did it on mine. i got the phantom. shift light crapped out on me though cuz it's so old. but it's definitely the blue wire.

Blue is Tach signal. Hook the red wire up to a power source, black to a ground, and orange to the dimmer or your radio.
