Default Need help with EK front on EG

Yea, so like, I don't care what ya'll think. I like it. I'm gonna do it. I just wanna know what all is involved. Is it something I can do on my own with my cheap WalMart brand tools, or should I just have a shop do it? Hook it up with some knowledge, if you will. And I'm sure you will!

Don't even say it. I've searched, Google'd, Yahoo'd, looked up in the Encyclopedia Britanica, and even asked ol' man Winters from down yonda wayz

the fenders need to be cut in half and grafted together, and I'm pretty sure the rad support would need to get changed to the EK one so you have something to bolt the headlights to. but I dunno for sure. either way, it's a lot of work. have a shop do the work.

^^like he said, u have to chop up a eg and ek fender and combine them and i think u just chop up your stock radiator support and fit the headlights. When my friend owned a shop he use to do it all the time to customers cars but I cant remember what they did with the radiator support now.

edit: i think u use an EK support because now i think of it, thats the only way the hood could close right?

heres my opinion....just get a 96-00 civic....rather than having your car front to be like a newer civic

but yeah u have to cut the fenders at this weird angle and weld them together...smooth it out with some bondo or watever, then get at least a ek rad support...mainly the upper portion so the headlights will line up. to be honest, its too much work just to make your car look crappy. good luck to you though, ive seen some clean ones

Ehh, thanks. I'm kinda undecided, now. Someone told me it was hella easy, and I saw one that was really crappy in my area. I dunno. I'm not wishy wash. Yea, I am. No, I'm not!
