Re: eg front to ek front (o0Jash0o)
If you want the EK front end on your EG I'm guessing you would need these parts:
EK Fenders
EK Hood
EK Headlights
EK Grille
EK Bumper
You'll need to decide which front end you want to rock. The 96-98, or the 99-00 then get the listed parts and have fun!
And possibly the radiator support as well. Other than that, I'm not really sure.

I'm not 100% positive, but I think you will have to keep everything either 96-98 or 99-2000. I think even the fenders and the headlights are different, as well as the bumper.

Exactly. The parts are different depending on whether you get the 96-98 or 99-00 front end. I'll edit my original post.

Re: (K20.EG6)
i have done it to my coupe......
you will need the following......
99-00 bumper
99-00 grill
99-00 headlights
99-00 rad support
99-00 fenders
you have to cut half you old fenders and weld them with half of the new fenders, really is not that hard.......
here is a pic of my car
hope this info helps

Re: (malubawla)
yea he beat me to it, youll need all of the front end parts plus you have to cut both sets of fenders (eg and ek) in half where they meet at the same width. using just ek fenders wont fit at all. you need the eg fender half that connects by the doors and obviously the front of the ek fender. not too expensive if you have easy access to the resources and i think it looks good so go ahead and go for it.

In my personal opinion, the EK front doesn't look good at all on the EG car. Headlights and front are just too big, if you want an EK front, get an EK.

Wow people. The OP didn't want your opinions on whether YOU liked it or not, he probably doesn't care at all. If you can't help him, don't post.

It’s a waste of time and money.
1. The cost of all the sheet metal: hood, fenders and core support?
2. Bumper cover and related supporting parts inner fenders?
3. Labor and time. What's your time worth?
4. Refinishing and body work supplies
5. Cost have front of car painted and blended.
And at best after it's all done you will have an EG that nearly cost or cost more than just buying an EK and being done with it.
My advice just sell your EG and buy an EK its false economy otherwise.

I could not disagree with you anymore. If you shop around, you can find these parts cheap. If you have access to a welder, and can weld you (not sure if the OP does or not) you could weld it yourself. I can see where your coming from if the person didn't have access to a welder, or couldn't find the parts cheap.
Anything is possible, anything. And yes, that includes this swap for a cheap cost.

Re: (JDM-EJ1)
I will define my idea of quality in custom body-work. All seams and gaps line up, the body lines flow, parts look finished (example) no visible extra screw holes in fenders, hood, bumper, fender outriggers and core support ( basically ) the parts don't look like they came from another car, but that they belong. Fender liners and under trays intact as to look factory.
Well, just look around how many of these cars do you see that are quality built and were cheap. Sure it can be done if you’re a professional that works in the auto-body field that has metal fabricating experience, but time and time gain I see cars with front end swaps that have been preformed horribly.
Not very many people can do such things cheaply unless they have old school sheet metal fabrication skills and patience. It's much more than slapping on sheet metal and finishing the work with a good helping of body filler to smooth things over. Then again maybe I'm just too picky and **** to do things half ***.
