Whats involved in swapping out a D15b7 with a D16Z6? The car is a 93 Dx. I searched but probably in the wrong place. And I couldnt find anything in the stickied swap post. Thanks

 

im not positive but i think all you need is the ecu everything else just drops in

 

is the DX automatic or manual??

 

Automatic at the moment..but i have everything for a 5 speed swap.

 

if its an auto to manual you wont be able to use the mount on the transmission side, hasport sells the mount for auto to manual swaps... there is also more you will need to know, maybe some one else cane help you out or try searching sround some more..

 

Right now I plan on leaving it auto..I Already have the mount. I just need my daily driver back since the B7 locked up ...And damn shift linkages and a clutch pedal assembly are holding me back from swapping the auto out. I just wanna know If i can swap out the B7 with the Z6 and just keep the auto for now.

 

yes you can just reuse everything from the b7
