Have another tire question
Well i made up my to go for the Hankook tires and will buy soon some slipstreams in 16x7, 4x100 bolt pattern and 45mm offset and the tires i dont know which to choose from are 215/45/16 or 215/40/16
well i was recommend to go for the 45% profile, but when i try the tire caculator on this link: http://www.7thgencivic.com/index.php?page=tirecalc
when i tried 215/45/16 it showed that the speedometer will read %4.53 slower
while
when i tried 215/40/16 it showed that the speedometer will read %0.7 slower
thats when i used stock tire was 175/70/13
Now i heard if i go with the 45mm offset i wont rub and dont know if i can fit the 215/40/16 cause from the tire calculator the 40% profile is close to stock specs and the speedometer will read much more accurate than 45%.....what do you guys think?

The reason you're getting a different answer is because the stock tire size on your Integra isn't 175/70-13. I believe it's 185/65-14. 215/40-16 (or 205/40-16) is a good size for a Civic that comes with 175/70-13; 215/45-16 (or 205/45-16) is a good size for an Integra that comes with 185/65-14.

if am going with a 16x7, 4x100 bolt pattern and +38mm offset do u think if i go with 205/40/16 and lets say Max 2" drop....now is there any chances of rubbing here?
Note: this is going on a 99 civic hatch!

Well, you'll have to try it to be sure, but probably not, except possibly under maximum compression (as threenil notes). I would still stick with the 45 aspect ratio (205/45-16). Its outer diameter is already smaller than stock (by 0.9 percent). If you go 205/40, your outer diameter will be WAY smaller than stock (4.3 percent) and this will throw off your speedometer and odometer by that amount. You really don't want to do that. Get the 205/45-16 size.

Thanks for the clarification. However, unlike many of the earlier Civic hatches (which had stock sizes of 175/70-13 or 185/60-14), the '99 Civic DX hatch has a stock size of 185/65-14, which has almost exactly the same (0.1 percent difference) outer diameter as the '94-01 Integras, so that really doesn't change the size recommendation.
Cliff's notes: Get 205/45-16.

Which is why the Hankooks are a better choice than the RT-615. (Who said anything about the Falkens, anyway?) I assume you were talking about the Hankook Ventus R-S2 Z212, which is similar to the Falken RT-615. Both are very sticky tires, sort of in between street tires and R compound track tires. The Z212 is available in 205/45-16 for $89/tire (from Discount Tire) and will be fine for your '99 Civic hatch.
