could someone tell me what a JDM ITR hood weighs...thanks

Searched and found nothing

 

May I be the first to ask why? I would imagine the same as the USDM hood. I did'nt know they were different. I learn something new everyday.

HUGE difference, JDM is a lot heavier usdm isn't that bad..jdm ones probably weighs 8 lbs more

If not more then 8lbs.

 

yeah, JDM is WAY heavier than USDM. it's a lot bigger too.

 

I think it's 9-10 pounds more when i weighed mine...

the heavier weight is due to the size of the hood right?

 

i would assume so. the metal doesn't appear any thicker.

 

I'm pretty sure all honda hoods are similar in metal, they seem to be structured the same also, the metal seems better than Toyota metal also

 

wow i learned something new today. good thing i have cf hood for me. .....but wait doesnt jdm cf hood weight more than usdm cf hood? dammit

or the weight of a USDM, so i can add the 9-10 lbs to it for the JDM hood?

 

so how much lbs would i save if i go from a jdm hood stock hood to a Cf jdm hood?

x-y=z

x=Weight of JDM stock hood
y=Weight of CF hood
z=Total weight difference (savings)

 

honestly i'd say a good 30 lbs, if you get a lightweight one,

VIS = heavy 18-20 lbs

sunny stylings = 8-10 lbs

The USDM hood was approximately 31 lbs. when I weighed mine.
