Default JDM P73 and USDM P73 ... How do I tell the difference ?

I did search for this one folks but found nowt that answered the question entirely. As the question states how can I tell the difference ? Writing on the side ? codes ? what can I try to work it out.

I am specifically interested in OBD2A units.

Thanks folks,

- Probs

Examples..

USDM - 37820-P73-A03
JDM - 37820-P73-003

That first character in the last three digits designates whether or not the ecu is (A)merican, (C)anadian, or (0) JDM, etc..

Actually, the OBD2A units are the same case size.

You're thinking of the JDM P30. But my JDM P73 does indeed have the same case as the USDM P73.
