I need some help fast! My problem is with my 1990 Honda Civic DX Hatch. Whenever I turn on the headlights the instrument(gauge) lights and tail lights would turn off, but when I turn it on to only the parking lights, at that setting the instrument and tail lights will work. I have to turn the switch on to "in between" the headlights and parking lights for both to work but it's a pain when I use the turn signal(because it moves the switch and my tail and instrument light will go out or headlight which has happen) or go over a bump. I checked all my fuses and everything seem fine. I tap/wiggled some wires under the dash to see if any wires were crossed or loose but nothing indicated that.(I know it's not the best way to check.) I checked to see if there's power at the fuse when the switch is at "parking light" setting and "headlight" settinga nd found that power is there during both settings. Please help me out. I need working lights because its starting to get dark earlier and it rains here. Any suggestions or details will be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your help!

Looks like the switch is broken. It's a pain to replace...fiddly....but do-able.
