Default Clifford Alarm - do accessory channels work when car is started/running?

I've heard different responses from people i asked... one person told me that the accessory channels dont work when the car is ON (motor running) or alarm is armed as they do when the alarm is off and disarmed...

can someone w/ a definate answer let me know.. are the accessories (keyless entry via remote, trunk pop via remote, window roll up via remote, etc.. ) supposed to work the same when the car is started/motor runnin as when the car is off and alarm disarmed? please let me know

reasons i ask is... i would like to remove the keyhole for the rear hatch and disable the trunk unlock from inside the car so that the only way to pop the hatch is to press the remote.. there are times i would like to pop the hatch (to change CD's in the changer) w/o shutting off the motor... so when a theif tries to jack my stereo.. they have to either crawl in and out of the rear seats to get access to the trunk..bust the glass, or pry open the hatch..

keyless entry is supposed to work (via remote) while the motor is running too right? i already disabled my power door lock switch to try to make it harder for theieves.. so right now to unlock.. i either flick the unlock tab.. OR turn my ignition to off (ignition controlled door locks).. anyway can i unlock via remote while the motor is running? im at work rite now.. so i cant just leave and try..
