SRS light on steady and dead horn. related somehow???
car: 00 si.
i dont know if this is a coincidence but after my SRS light came on steady, (no airbag deployed, came suddenly) my horn died as well. Can someone tell me it these two things are tied to each other.
Aleady checked wiring and fuse.. its all good.
I heard it has to do the steering reel which means taking the steering off. Is this true? Thanks in advance.

Cable reel 100%. I've had to change 2 of those bastards. Your cruise control won't be working either.
To get the light off, you'll have to get the SRS computer reset by either a dealer or a specialty shop. That'll cost you about $80
It's shitty. I saw a trick on doing that with a jumper wire, but it has the possibility to blow the bags.
