here's the situation:
i have a usdm h22 swap in my 92 si....my dizzy went bad and my friend has a jdm h22 distributor that he doesnt need and gave it to me...so i just like to use this distributor on my motor if that were possible...thanx

Isn't the crank angle sensor, etc on the oil pump in the OBDI usdm motors? I know that with my old OBDII usdm motor, the crank angle sensor, etc were on the oil pump and such. The reason i couldnt run the JDM distributer is because it had the crank angle sensor built into it and not on the oil pump. So that would mean, in order to run the JDM distributer you would have to run the JDM oil pump and extend the sensor harnesses to the distributer. But im not sure if this is the same case with the older usdm motor.
