Default oil in turbo question.

Ok so a turbo has an oil feed and oil drain hole. If I pour some oil into the feed hole is it supposed to come out only through the drain hole or does the oil spread out and exit elsewhere as well?

From the feed hole the oil is directed over two journal bearings and then drains out the bottom.

It shouldn't come out anywhere but the drain.
