Default weird noise coming from releasing the clutch

i have a 97 teg gsr...i just recently put in a new clutch and it has about 5,000 miles. When i let the clutch out i feel a weird like grabbing feel (sorry the only way i can describe it)..almost like the pedal is sticking when i release it, however it still is releasing, only with that awkward feeling. Can someone please help me from how i described it ( I know its kind of vague)..thanks in advance!

Same problem here. If you release the clutch, it just feels like it gets stuck for a second and pops out. It doesn't happen always, but often, right?

A friend of mine told me that I probably need to bleed the clutch, so I called a shop and the guy told me that there is nothing to bleed. That I needed to adjust something.

Wow...amazing and that was a shop? Of course you can bleed a hydro clutch, if you have a cable clutch its simply a matter of turning a black ***.

^^very easy to do. just like brakes-pump pedal, hold pedal, then crack the bleed screw on the slave cyl. i just flushed my fluid last week.

yea basically it just makes like a squeeky noise wheni let it out...its a very awkward feeling on your foot as well; almost as if its fragile...its a very weird noise...would it have something to do with not "breaking in" the clutch correctly?

My clutch disc makes a little squeel noise if I engage it slowly, especially if I downshift a gear or two and engage the clutch slowly as I apply the gas. It's been doing that for a long time now, and I have over 70K on my Clutchmasters clutch and flywheel. I still don't know what it is.

Every now and then when I start off in 1st gear slowly, like in a parking lot, it will feel like the car and engine are lagging, and then it will get going. I'm pretty sure the disc is slipping when it does that. But it only does it every now and then, not very often, so I'm not real worried about it.

I will never go to that shop again? Maybe he thought that I had a cable clutch because he said that there was nothing to bleed, that i just had to adjust something.
