GSR stolen in san diego, please help
Hi, some of you san diego people might know me, its marty, i know a few people on here...
anyway, saterday night or early sunday morning my Integra was stolen from in front of my pad in PQ.
on monday the police found it without the drivetrain, intercooler, headlights, front bumper, hood, or guage cluster.
it was found a 5510 Trojan blvd, which is just south east of the intersection of 54th and El Cajon blvd.
because it had no motor i assume it had to be stripped somewhere near there.
so if anyone saw anything between saterday night and monday morning, i would much appreciate your help getting my things back.
here is the discription of the car and parts:
the car is a dark green GSR with a CF hood, stock wheels and stock ride hight, you may have also noticed an intercooler behind the front bumper...
some of the parts they took have specific markings that would identify them, here they are.
the hood had developed a crack in the top center (edge closest to the wind shild) in order to stop it i applied a big glob of fiberglass resin to the underside... so it looks like a big brownish yellow chunk stuck to the center on the edge nearest the windshild.
the motor has a light blue oil pan gasket, and the oil pan is taped for a turbo oil return, however when it was stolen i had the turbo off of the car for smog, so that fitting is capped off with a piece of rubber hose with a white plug in the end (it was a temp thing OK). around the fitting in the oil pan i slaped some JB weld to stop a minor leak... lastly the oil pressure sender is taped and pluged (all blue fittings).
the guage cluster is a GSR piece with just under 60k miles on shown on it.
the bumper is gark green, the paint is slightly chiped on at the spot where it rolls from the upword facing surface to the front surface, just left of the center line. there is also significant but dicreet triming to the left inner part of the grill....
if you have seen anything in that area, or see some of those parts PLEASE let me know, im a broke student and have put all my money for several years into that car and its unlikely ill be able to replace it anytime soon.
TO ADMINS: i know i dont post, but i am on here from time to time.... im kind of a big deal, people know me... just kidding, but is there any way i could be promoted from trial user, or at least have this post moved somewhere it will be seen by more people?

thanks man, you know, the parts are one thing, they can be replaced, but how do you get back all the time and energy?
anyone who works on thier own car, busting thier hands up and ripping thier hair out knows that thier car is more then just the parts.

i'll keep a look out too, sorry I dont know who you are, but I know how it feels to have a car stolen from you, and to think I got rid of my crx for a integra (because it was broken and stolen to many times)....so it hits close to home, anyway, ill keep a look out for your parts, cause their bound to show up on someones car....good luck and keep us posted.
thanks alot man, its nice to know that there are still coll honda people around... ill get the VIN for the motor and tranny up some time soon
