might want to look for some P30 pistons for more compression and since you will have the compression you should also look into Skunk2 Pro 1 cams. and you should get it tuned at nrg-tech lol.

nice set-up, but how do you plan on running your motor. cause im shooting for almost 190 o so all motor so im beating the crap out of my car. But i would saw to play in on the safe side run C.P pistons, Skunk2 pro 1 cams and valve train im going with jun all the way but REV or omni man or portflow are also good companies..good luck and keep us posted

my setup:

97 LS block
JDM P30 pistons
ARP rod bolts and head studs
Unported 96 GSR head
SKUNK2 Pro series IM
SKUNK2 66mm TB
SKUNK2 PRO 1 cams
RM Gen 2 springs and retainers
HONDATA IM gasket
DC 4-2-1 head (yes i know its hurting power)
UBERDATA tuned.....soon to be dyno tuned
255 lph fuel pump, FPR set at 62 psi, stock injectors
Stock Honda 3-layer LS head gasket
LS H20 pump and timing belt and oil pump (OBD2 oil pumps r same as type R/GSR, etc)

for valvetrain, honda-tech user VtecKidd said he uses the RM gen 2 springs and retainers on heads with Pro 1 cams so i went with them. the pro 1 cams are a bitch to idle. alot of tuning will be neccessary to dial out the idle. the Buddy Club 3's should idle fairly well and make decent power. if ur looking for 200whp then look into the PRO1 cams

gonna be dyno tuning this friday. look n to make 190's-200 whp on the motor. will post up results

the head
right isnt a itr just a ported b16 from factory so for now i thnk im just gunna get the head ported and take it to nrg-tech and let them do it cuz ima get my intake manifold and throttle body from skunk 2 in a few days with my rail injectors and regulator so i just wanna get the head and basic bolt on first plus my ecu rite now im at 5700 vtec and 9000 rev limit i think its a mugen chip i dunno its a p30 i just installed my header and exhaust at school and the throttle response is alot better and the car seems to pull alot harder from about 4500 up to 8500 my top end has increased dramatically from the stock header and piping for the block i might just bore it out some to bump up displacement i like my high reving short stroke motor
