vtec is not working

Default vtec is not working

i have a 91 hatch w/ b16 swap the ecu is not letting vtec kick in for some reason can i wire a vtec controller straight to the dist.. and the vtec solinoid and make it work i haVe been throught the whole car couldnt figure it out even sent the car to the shop and everyday they call me with something different like they are tryin to guess and check **** my only problem is i dont ahve vtec will using a controller fix this

get your ecu chipped or it might be the knock sensor... did you leave anything unwired when you finished or is everything wired up? check wiring

no cel at all everything is hoked up all the wiring is done as i asked before can i use a vfac to make vtec kick in

yes you can use vafc to kick in vtec.

Probably same as mine. When I got my car installl, there's NO Vtec kick, therefore, I bought a spoon off ebay and now, Vtec screen loud as hell, louder than my cousin's ITR.
I think you probably need to chip your ecu or buy a chip ecu since it's danger to chip yourself. Well, that's my problem...is the ECU. Ecu makes the different if you got all your wires right where they suppose to be...

yes i ahve a vtec ecu it is a pre3 the oil has already been changed i put my ecu in a freinds car and vtec works in his car with my ecu

u sure its hooked up right?hows your oil pressure?is the vtec silinod any good?and the most important thing has your GROUNDS?

yes the vtec solinoid is good if yuo put it on a push button and hit it at 5 grand it will kick in every time you hit it

is your speedometer working? cuz if not vtec will not kick in.. make sure you wired everything up into the right pins in the ecu. 2nd 02, solenoid, pressure switch, knock sensor
