no one else makes one... imo its a waste because it doesnt open until positive boost is seen... the whole point of a cutout is to stay open to increase spool time in addition to making more power

It seems that he is unsure about this whole thing so he would not know where to get a manual one or an e-cutout. Where could he get an e-cutout? That would be helpful to him. I don't know where he could get one or I would let him know.

manual cut out you pull the cable from the interior..............LoL same as the e-cut out except for the extra 2 inches you need to move your hand from pulling the cable. Are you really that lazy?

apparently the one on summit racing has a 2" outlet.
wouldn't it be a bit restrictive though?
just asking because it would seem to be if you were running a 3" dp to an all of a sudden restrictive 2" outlet no?

Well, does it stop the flow to the exhaust and opens up this other outlet? or does the flow through both but mostly through the cutout?

from what i understand, correct me if im wrong, it has that "valve" closed running the gases through the full exhaust & muffler.
the valve is manually opened and is then running open downpipe/header.

im sure you can probably find a bigger one, i've auctally seen this item in person. Its made of cast iron. Inside is a "flap" that swings from one end to the other, which is moved by the cable. IMO the flow is alot better than the one pictured above. If you think about it that one is in a T which is harder for the air to get around the sharp corner, while this one is in a Y shape.

here's a link for people using throttle bodies for cut outs https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=1

the mr gasket one sucks i have one on my downpipe and it leaks even completely closed.

if ur going to go for a manual one i suggest just makin one out of a spare throttle body or something,

just make a plate to bolt the tb to and weld a Y pipe to that plate.
