It not how much boost the setup will handle, but how much power it can handle (WHP). And it is not how much the block can handle but how much the rods would handle...

I would go with whatever stock LS rods can handle. Whats the breaking point of those rods, like 250-300whp im not sure but just search it...

i think your stock bottom end can take 10psi with good tuning ofcourse ..anymore than that i would say is pushing it even with a block guard. ....

A T3 super 60 @ 10psi is going to give you alot more power then a T28 @ 10psi... So due to the fact that we dont know what turbo or setup he is putting in his car you have to refer to how much power can it hold NOT psi...

im goin to be using a t3 with a 60 trim. i used ls rods cause they were free and the shop only charged me 15 bucks a rod to fit them to the crank. i was told they can handle 250 to the wheels safely.so my thought of a 15 pound boost tune is kinda pushing it huh? thanx for the imput above fellas!!!

That block should be sitting in the machine shop AFTER you install the block gaurd, not before.

I think the LS rods are good to about 300whp or so... and I think that would be the limiting factor in your case.

The vitaras should be fine to that much, and the sleeves shouldn't have a problem either, with a good tune that is.

I think you will have to spin that 60 trim T3 up to 15-20psi of boost in order to make that much power, and I don't think the turbo is efficient at that range. I'd have to recheck the compressor map though.

Sounds about right to me. You shouldn't have any problems hitting 250whp with 17psi on that turbo/engine combo.

That's going to be a blast to drive! I had that turbo on my d16z6 at 12psi and it kicked ***
