Hey, I just saw this Ebay link on another thread in the Appearance forum. I'm not 100%, but I recall someone with a full Mugen ITR had some yellow Recaros had gotten his car stolen.

I'm wondering if these seats have any connection. Anyone?

If I'm wrong about the "integrity" of this sale, I apologize to the Ebay poster and the ITR forum readers for waisting their time.

 

What seems fishy to me is that this auction states that the seats will be shipped from Asia. However, in my experience in perusing Ebay auctions, "Asian" auctions posted tend not to have use of comprehensible English describing the auction.

This one seems like it was written by an American. That's the only thing that perked up for me.

I let him know you posted this, he's not from Malaysia, I don't think he's the seller.

 

Ooops, looks like I mis-read his post. I assumed he posted the pic in the "Post your Rare Parts" thread in the appearance forum because they were his seats that are on Ebay.

He doesn't once portray these seats are his. Apologies, my mistake.

 

Did the yellow EK hatch ever get recovered? I know it has yellow Recaros.

 

I've bought items (including my Ohlins suspension) from this seller before, a few times actually. The parts are indeed in Malaysia and are apparently pulled out of wrecked cars that have been modified/raced.

 

The car you are talking about is mikehonda's old py ITR. Guesses have been made that the car is overseas Those maybe just his seats. Who knows?!

could be...but in the grand scheme of things...it wouldn't be worth it to even ship those things overseas just to ship them back Thieves are not that pro-active. They're lazy ***** that like to make a quick buck....so I doubt they'd strip or ship the entire car over there just so someone can e-bay parts off of it

 

i guarantee those arent stolen im bought from that guy before he kicks *** ill vouch for him ANY day of the week never doubt him he's the **** bought my recaros from him prob free

 

I found them on eBay and posted them in the rare parts thread. I am not a theif nor am I the one selling them, anyone that thinks so can go **** themselves

 

that ebay seller has been around for a while and always has kickass jdm parts, i am 1000% certain those are not the stolen seats, check his feedback and old auctions
