Need help tuning itb set up with aem ems??? any suggestions

Default Need help tuning itb set up with aem ems??? any suggestions

i got a usdm b18c5 with ctr pistons ericks racing header, buddy club valvetrain, and twm 50mm itb's, the car runs soo rich i cannot get it leaned out does anyone have a base map for can give me some tuning tips. I have a wideband but its rich. It actuall runs better on the chipped p28 but vtec wont engage but it engages on the ems but has no power please help i wanna get this thing resolved.

Based on your location I think your best bet would be to take the car down to P1 in Charlotte and have Jack screw with it for a few hours.

thats what i was thinkin but i am afraid to drive it that far i dont want to wash the rings. Any tips on fuel pressure or what not i got it to idle half *** decent but its still filthy rich the header gets soo damn hot. i have the vacuum rail hooked up and with the map hooked to the vacuum rail it idles like *** but iwth it un hooked it idles decent and the damn twm tps plug is different than the honda one so the tps is just hanging hehe trying to figure out that right now thats prob why vtec wouldnt engage on the stock ecu. anymore help is greatly appreciated

Get the TPS hooked up immediately. That should get it drivable enough to get it down to Jack for some quality tuning.

The TPS will keep it from running in limp mode which is almost always rich as hell. Leave the stock fuel pressure until after you get the TPS hooked up. It should still be running rich, just not as much. If it's still too much then drop the fuel pressure back a few psi so that you can at least get it to a dyno.
