a customer wants to do this for his civic in order to maintain the sleeper look. i advised against it but he really wants it so he doesnt get anymore tickets. i know STsturbo.com makes rear moutned turbo setups. im curious if any of you guys know where to get the reservior/ pumps ?
I gave the info in another thread.
Here is the pump that was purchased by a neighbor of mine when I built a rear mount turbo setup for him.

So far it has been fine, and the car is daily driven and has 3000 plus miles on the setup.

I wouldn't use a pump from Northern tool, especially with a $500+ turbo depending on it.

Try a Weldon pump. My friend uses it as a circulation pump for his rear diff oil on his GT1 car

Alright!
Someone else trying a remote turbo setup
I am going to be doing one soon as well.
Here's the thread I made about it: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1386968
I'm interested in hearing how it turns out. My project most likely won't be done for a number of months still.
I am most likely going to do the oil drain setup just like STS does it, with a heavy duty pump and hobbs switch.. I am also going to drain it back into the oil cap like they do.

Not really, they don't flow enough to make pressure, the bearing/journal interface is too loose. Although you could use one to pre-oil, it won't build any actual pressure. I would get an Accusump before doing on of those.
