Balljoint popped out? Why? How to fix it?
I was looking to see why my brake fluid was low the day after I filled it up and found out that my brake line to front right brakes was cut open. While I was inspecting around, I found that my balljoint had popped out. I went to the driver side to see it was the same and it wasn't--driver side was in all the way and flush unlike the passenger side. I think I also need to readjust my Progess camber kit. I think I have it on the wrong setting.
Why did it pop out? How do I put it back in?

I guess the ball joint wasn't pressed on the control arm that good or maybe it was getting old, but just take it to a shop and let them press it on for you or buy a new control arm.

THere are no C-clips for the upper contol arm ball joints, they are simply pressed in. I say go to a junkyard and pick up a new control arm with ball joint, cuz it seems the that yours is loose now. I think a new aftermarket ball joint should cost around 20, I'm not sure how much OEM ones cost though.

I'd get a new ball joint because the old one has lost it's width from the constant running so even if you hit it back it will eventually come back up

yes, you are wrong. They sell the ball joint seperately but it has to be pressed out and new one pressed in.
