Default Massive hesitation when car not warmed up

Whenever I start up my car in the morning and drive off after the temp needle starts moving up, my car hesitates and rocks back and forth esp when starting off in 1st gear. After a few blocks this goes away and the car accelerates normally.

If I start up my car in the morning or when I've left it sitting for 6-8 hrs and let it warm up for about a minute and before the temp needles starts moving up, the car massively hesitates and rocks back and forth for a few seconds when I start driving off in 1st gear.

I know motors are not going to run at their best when still cold, but this definitely does not seem normal. My setup is a y7/y8 mini me.

Ive got the same issue with my car, Ive got a boosted y7 w/ z6 head. If I fix mine Ill let you know.

Edit - have you done any tuning? someone mentioned to me that the Fuel cut value could be off. Im not sure on that though, but im going to try that first.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the hg was put on correctly. The guy that helped me do the swap ran a leakdown test on the motor a few months ago and all cylinders were fine. No tuning and not really any mods besides intake. Running a y8 p2p ecu.

Fuel filter was replaced a few months ago so it can't be that.

damn i have the exact same problem, mine is a 97 ek hatch w/ b16a. Still trying to figure what my problem is, changed the spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, cleaned the injectors, seafoamed through vaccum line, even a new dizzy, still does it for me. I heard something about it could be the main relay or my throttle body sensors, changing those in a day or so, so I'll post back if it helps...
