Default sometimes the oil light comes on

such as today, i let it warm up only to about 150 before i started riding (2001 kawasaki zx6r) i shifted into third and went WOT for a second and noticed the oil light flashed on. whats up with that. its done it once before, theres enough oil in it. and i can never get the light to flash on again right after it does.

are you sure its filled to the proper level? i've only ever seen this happen with low oil...since it happens at WOT, when things are sloshing around, its most likely that the oil pickup is exposed and is actually losing pressure for a moment.

not good.

i know, but i wanted to know if you think that might be the reason theres no other signs of something being wrong....so thats why i think thats what it is.

wait, actually the other time that it went on, i was slowing down REALLY hard....but i was kinda freaking out, so i dont know what all was going on. lol

let your bike warm up fully before riding agressive. and yes i think riding it hard when cold is the problem since the oil visciosity will change as it heats up.
